In January of 2017, congregations from around New Hampshire joined interfaith organizations such as the Granite State Organizing Project to work with immigrant families who were facing the threat of being torn apart by the ICE (Immigrant and Customs Enforcement). UUs join 150 to stand in solidarity with immigrants during monthly check in
Over 150 people came to the Federal Building in Manchester today to stand in solidarity with 19 Indonesian immigrants who checked in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Organizers of the vigil, including the American Friends Service Committee - NH Program and the Granite State Organizing Project, ask that people also show up tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6, at 8:30 AM, at the Federal Building, to continue to offer support to immigrants who have to report to ICE.
