UUs join 150 to stand in solidarity with immigrants during monthly check in

Over 150 people came to the Federal Building in Manchester today to stand in solidarity with 19 Indonesian immigrants who checked in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Included in the picture: Rev. Michael Leuchtenberger & Rev. Lyn Marshall of the UU Church in Concord, Rev. Chris Jablonski of South Church in Portsmouth, and Rev. Betsy Tabor of the UU Fellowship of the Eastern Slopes in Tamworth.

Organizers of the vigil, including the American Friends Service Committee - NH Program and the Granite State Organizing Project, ask that people also show up tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6, at 8:30 AM, at the Federal Building, to continue to offer support to immigrants who have to report to ICE.
